If this doesn’t get you amped up for UFC 205’s main event, you must have ice running through your veins.
On November 12, 2016 the UFC’s motley crew will make their first trip to New York’s iconic Madison Square Garden to present a night of high-octane mixed martial arts action.
The main event is a legitimate superfight as superstar featherweight champion Conor McGregor takes on veteran brawler Eddie Alvarez for the 155 lb “big-boy” belt. McGregor will be looking to make history by becoming the first fighter to hold two belts in two separate divisions simultaneously, while Alvarez wants to extinguish the star and solidify his legacy as one of the greatest lightweights of all time.
The rest of the card doesn’t look too shabby either, with welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defending his welterweight title against Stephen Thompson and UFC women’s strawweight champ Joanna Jędrzejczyk going up against fellow Pole Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
