Manchester United fans might be nervous about facing Leicester City this weekend, and with good cause.
The Foxes have the Premier League’s most in-form goalscorer in Jamie Vardy, and the England international has a chance to break Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record of scoring in 10 successive top-flight games.
We’re only one third of the way into the season, but Vardy has actually outdone the former United frontman so far, as this infographic from Football Fanager shows.
Vardy is showing he’s no flash in the pan, taking more shots than Van Nistelrooy, hitting the target almost as frequently, and producing a better goals per game ratio so far.
If the former non-league star can keep it up over the course of the season, perhaps Leicester can stun us all and lay claim to a top-four spot.
