You’ll have surely seen this video by now, but it shows the extent to which McGregor focused on his movement to gain an advantage.
And it certainly paid off.
Only a few seconds into the fight, McGregor swiftly evaded Aldo’s reach to hammer the Brazilian on the jaw and take him down.
He knew exactly what he wanted to do and perfected the execution.
