Wales have bloody earned a pint.
The Welsh Dragon roared at Euro 2016 as Chris Coleman’s side battled their way to the semi finals in their first championships for half a century.
Diligent, dazzling and durable, Gareth Bale and co won acclaim across the board with their heroics – even in their eventual defeat to Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal.
So it was no surprise that, after their superhuman efforts in France, they were in need of a good drink.
Demob happy, the Welsh team nipped for a quiet pint in Dinard to toast their historic success.
But it was never going to be a quiet pint, was it? And Wales appear to have underestimated just how many fans they’ve won at this tournament.
As they alighted the team bus to head for the nearest bar, they were mobbed by the locals who gave them a rousing and raucous guard of honour.
Incredible scenes with the French fans…
