Leicester City are so close they can almost taste that sweet, sweet Premier League trophy.
After an astonishing season they sit seven points clear at the top of the table, with just five games left.
It would take a monumental capitulation or loss of form now to deny them a historic title win.
While they’ve still got tough games left against West Ham, Chelsea, and Manchester United, the race looks almost run.
But Leicester fans with money riding on Claudio Ranieri’s valiant charges still refuse to count their chickens before they’ve hatched.
We’ve already seen cash outs after the Arsenal defeat and even *before* they beat Watford – but Leicester have just kept on winning.
But one anonymous Leicester fan who backed his side to win the title back in August at 5,000-1 has had enough of the nail-biting climax to the season.

After Jamie Vardy’s brace won them another three points against Sunderland he finally cashed in his bet for a cool £108,703.41.
He stood to win around £133,000 if Leicester went all the way to Premier League title glory, but walked away with a sizeable chunk of that as the Foxes remain 1/5 on to win.
Sky Bet’s spokeswoman Sandro Di Michele said:
“All these 1-0 wins and even their 2-0 win at Sunderland have come with moments of genuine alarm and I must say bravo to this customer for seeing it through for so long. Presumably the punter was keen to make sure they won six figures for their small each-way play and now that it’s job done, they can relax and enjoy the rest of the season.”
With Leicester facing a tough test against West Ham at the weekend, he wasn’t willing to wait it out.
Di Michele continued:
“It appears this lucky customer really has picked the right moment to cash out. Only last week he rejected a cash out value of £101,770 after Leicester’s 1-0 win over Southampton. In January after Leicester’s 3-0 win over Stoke the customer could have cashed out for as little as £14,172 and on March 5 after a 1-0 win away to Watford he could have cashed out for £76,963 but clearly this Sky Bet customer knew the Foxes were going to keep on winning games.”
