Having grown tired of paying for lottery tickets with little in the way of a return, this novice sports gambler could well have pulled off a master stroke.
Back in August, Chloe Cope tweeted a couple of bets she’d made, both on Leicester City.
The first – a £20 free bet on Leicester City to finish in the top 6 – looks extremely good value at the minute. If table topping Leicester do finish higher than seventh, Chloe will net £440, having backed them at 22/1.
But if Claudio Ranieri’s men remain on top of the pile, Chloe’s other bet will be far more impressive.
Having bet £7 at 5000/1 on Leicester to win the Premier League, Chloe will net just over £35,000 if successful.

Of course, there’s clearly quite a way to go this season and plenty can happen. But at this moment in time, Chloe’s *first ever* bets look mightily impressive.
