It might not have been the most entertaining football match of all time, but at least the fans had a riot.
Even those watching on TV could tell that the atmosphere in the Parc Des Princes for Wales vs Northern Ireland was electric, with both sets of fans chanting throughout.
But this video shows just how great the atmopshere was at the Welsh end.

Fans from both teams had been partying together (and probably having a few drinks together) before the match, so it’s not surprise that these two sets of noisy supporters were up for it.

Chants of “Don’t Take Me Home” were ringing around the stadium after Wales went ahead in the 76th minute courtesy of a McCauley own goal, in what was surely one of the best matches of tournament so far for atmopshere, even if the on-pitch action didn’t match up.
