Tom Youngs found himself leafing through the most recent edition of Farmers Weekly at the weekend when he discovered a familiar face.
The grin of England prop Joe Marler met Youngs as he flipped through his favourite periodical.
A proud farm boy, Youngs regularly picks up the magazine and he had quite the succinct reaction to the sight of his former international compatriot being handed a bottle of milk by a Norfolk dairy farmer.
Marler recently made headlines due to his insistence that his lightning quick recovery from a broken leg was all down to drinking milk.
The prop remarkably started both of England’s Six Nations victories despite the fact that he broke a bone in his leg a month ago and while Youngs is not a part of Eddie Jones’ squad for the tournament, he is understandably keeping abreast of how England are doing.
best milk 🍼 I've had, my one year old smashed it!

Youngs advised family friend and dairy farmer Jo Burroughs to bring a bottle of milk with her when going to watch England’s tournament opener against France at Twickenham last week so that she could give it to the milk-mad Marler.
A photo was taken.
And Youngs reckons Marler’s a wanker.
