It’s fair to say Wednesday was a stinker of a day for FIFA.
The controversy-ridden governing body trod in yet another steaming pile of trouble after 14 officials were arrested in dawn raids – which Twitter greatly enjoyed with some well-prepared jokes.
But it seems there’s another serious investigation going on at FIFA HQ – and people want blood…

It’s about time they got to the bottom of those rotten connectivity issues.
Obviously incumbent FIFA President Sepp Blatter came in for some flak too…
