Two-time champion Rafael Nadal is out of Wimbledon 2017.
The Spaniard fought back from two sets down against Luxembourg’s Gilles Müller and would have been fancied by many to see off his opponent in the final set.
That, however, wasn’t to be.
An epic fifth set was eventually won 15-13 by Müller, the sixteenth seed progressing to the quarter finals after nearly five hours of tennis.
As you can probably imagine, the duration of the final set drew plenty of attention and attracted lots of tweets from those on social media.
I'm going to miss my daughter's wedding at this rate. She hasn't even been born yet #Muller #Nadal #Wimbledon
