When you’ve just knocked out the reigning world champion and earned yourself around £5m you can probably afford to travel in style.
But Tyson Fury, who won the heavyweight world title against Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday, isn’t your average boxer.
The 27-year-old Brit isn’t your flashy Floyd Mayweather type, the self-styled ‘Gypsy King’ is more a man of the people.
He was expected to fly by private jet back to Britain after conquering the world, but that’s not the Fury way.
The mad-cap Mancunian opted for an all-together more modest journey home aboard a P&O Ferry with some of his fans.
He probably saved himself a bob or two in the process.

Fury is expected to have earned around £5m from the Klitschko fight – as well as taking £400,000 of a wealthy relative in a sportsman’s bet.
But this big money has not changed the man one bit – he’s still got his cheap and cheerful £1 Slazenger socks on…
