Tyson Fury says he will be ready to make his return to boxing in April, adding that he expects to have three big fights in 2018.
The former world heavyweight champion hasn’t fought since his shock victory over Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 and had is licence revoked by the British Boxing Board of Control a year ago amid allegations of doping.
Despite this, the 29-year-old explained on social media on Thursday that he was eyeing a comeback in April, followed by a ‘mega fight’ in the summer. He also added that he intended to fight again at the end of the year.
Be ready to fight in April 2018 in a great fight! & again in the summer in a mega fight! & again in back end of year. 3 big fights in 2018.

As you can probably imagine, people are already speculating as to who Fury could be stepping into the ring with next year – especially for the second of his three proposed fights. One name in particular appeared to be being mentioned quite a lot.

Fury was scheduled to fight in a rematch against Klitschko in July 2016, only to withdraw. The fight was postponed until September but was again cancelled due to Fury being ‘medically unfit’.
In the time since his last fight, Fury has been stripped of the belts he won after his fight with Klitschko.
