On Saturday, Tyson Fury gets the chance to realise a life-long dream when he takes on Wladimir Klitschko.
If Fury beats Klitschko, he will become the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world – and he’ll do it a month ahead of schedule too.
Back in 2006, when Fury was just a promising amateur, his coach Steve Egan clearly saw just how good Fury could become.
During a report on the then-18-year-old Fury, Egan reads a predicted CV for the youngster. Among his belief that Fury would be the British and European champion by now, Egan also included the prediction: “2016: Undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. You will be. By that time you will be. It’s just about being patient.”
The whole video makes for interesting viewing, but skip to 5:08 if you’re just after the predictions.
