‘You can’t argue with Mystic Mac!’
They might have butted heads as team captains on the most recent series of The Ultimate Fighter, but Urijah Faber has been quick to congratulate Conor McGregor on his featherweight title triumph.

The one-time featherweight tipped Frankie Edgar as McGregor’s next fight and Faber, who was also at the post-fight press conference, made it clear his own future lies at bantamweight.
“I’m not here for a long time, but I’m here for a good time,” Faber said. “Fighting for a title is what my goal is.”
Faber’s former team-mate TJ Dillashaw fights Dominick Cruz for the title next month and Faber is targeting the winner of that fight.
“It’s weird when you take a back seat because of friendship, but I’ve been released from that friendship. I’m gonna train my butt off and hopefully I’ll get that call. I’ll be ready.”
Faber also praised McGregor at the press conference, saying: “I like Conor, we had some good times in Vegas [at TUF]. Not that he can’t get on your nerves, but I enjoy his mindset, he’s a special guy.
“I really feel for Aldo, hopefully he gets his chance for redemption, but you can’t argue with Mystic Mac!”
