Upcoming world tour predicted to be “absolute sh*tshow” by Dana White

The UFC president is saying what everyone's thinking

Dana White knows exactly what to expect from the Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor world tour.

The UFC President will be travelling alongside Conor McGregor for every leg of the media tour promoting his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather.

The tour will kick off in Los Angeles on Tuesday and stop off at Toronto and New York before finishing in London’s Wembley Arena on Friday. He explained at the UFC 213 post-fight press conference that he expects the press conferences to be a lot different to the UFC 189 world tour which hyped up McGregor’s fight with Jose Aldo.

“I think it’s going to be a hybrid of the boxing press conferences and UFC press conferences. I don’t know. I think it’s going to be more like a boxing press conference than it is our press conferences. You know how mine are. No bullshit. We walk in, and we sit down and, ‘What’s up? Who has the first question,’ and we get it rolling. I think there’s going to be a lot more bullshit in this one.”

White vowed not to get sucked in by the insanity of it all. His plan is to do what he always does at press conferences, rather than try to mimic the other parties in attendance.

“I’m going to sit there with a mic, and when you ask me a question I will answer it. I’m not going to get up and give any speeches or do anything like that. I think Conor and I will come in, Conor and I will sit down, and we’ll answer questions when asked questions. I think that the rest of the people that are going to come in – I think there’s going to be a lot of people that come in and talk and have speeches.”

When asked about the possibility of both Mayweather and McGregor being fashionably late to the show, he let out a heavy exhale and let out the most brutally honest line of the entire presser.

“It’s going to be a fucking shitshow. You know that. Absolute shitshow. So, I don’t know. It’s going to be crazy.”

He’s probably right, but think of the entertainment value!
