As Juventus were running Barcelona close in the Champions League final, one of their former players was pulling the strings for his new club in some style.
Sebastian Giovinco played more than 100 games for the Bianconeri before leaving in January for MLS side Toronto FC, and he has already won over the fans in Canada.
Toronto have never made the end-of-season playoffs, but Giovinco and Jozy Altidore (remember him?) have combined well to see them start the season in fine form.
Opponents DC United called Giovinco “world class” after his two goals helped the Canadian side to a 2-1 win, and you can see why.
