It’s looking highly unlikely that the much rumoured fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor will take place.
We all know that both men are exceptional athletes in their chosen sports, and that they’ve an “interesting” history, but any upcoming fight will probably be confined to the realms of “what if?” rather than “it’s on”.
This didn’t stop the potential fight between ‘The Money’ and ‘The Notorious’ from being discussed on Joe Rogan’s latest show however, and the UFC commentator/interviewer didn’t hold back on the issue.
Rogan states that if they fought in MMA, McGregor would “f**k him up because Floyd will get the shit kicked out of him”. He also predicts that “Floyd will be debilitated inside one round”.
Rogan offered a very different analysis though if the pair met in the boxing ring. He states that “it’s a different animal” and that “I can’t imagine a world where Mayweather doesn’t f**k him up” because “he’s light years past Conor in terms of boxing skills”.
Rogan did provide a glimmer of hope for anyone that’s interested in seeing the fight though. He states that “Conor has ridiculous belief in himself, and he has unbelievable power” and they “the money will be giant”.
Here’s the whole discussion.
