We’ve got a fight on our hands.
The final stages of preparation have been turned in and, barring disaster, Conor McGregor v Jose Aldo is finally going to take place.
The two best featherweight fighters in the world took to the stage 24 hours before their 145lb unification bout and neither man backed up an inch.
Aldo, who has remained stoic in the build-up to the biggest featherweight fight in UFC history, adopted a McGregor-like stance as the pair were instructed to square off.
The karate stance clearly didn’t please The Notorious who faked a kick in the direction of Aldo – but the weigh-in never truly looked like boiling over.
What we do know, though, is that both men made 145lbs and that means the most anticipated fight in UFC history has been given the ol’ tick by the athletic commission.
Now all we need is the octagon door to be latched shut.
