Somehow, we can’t imagine Michael Phelps or Usain Bolt cramming their kit into a bag for life, seconds after securing another Olympic gold.
Jason Kenny on the other hand, is different. With five Olympic golds already to his name, the Bolton cyclist added a sixth on Tuesday when he sealed victory in the men’s keirin. This was his third gold medal of the Rio Games and also saw him equal Sir Chris Hoy’s tally of Olympic golds.
And as if that wasn’t already enough, it came on the same day that fiancee Laura Trott became Britain’s most successful female Olympian after she picked up her fourth Olympic gold with victory in the omnium.
Quite a day, eh?
As if he hadn’t already done us proud, minutes after dismounting his bike, Kenny showed how throroughly British he was as he stuffed his kit into a supermarket bag for life.
As you might expect, many viewers were quick to notice…
Jason Kenny packing his kit into a Bag for Life just after winning his sixth gold medal is the most British thing I've ever seen

Good on you Jason Kenny. It’s nice to see that one of the most successful Olympians in this country’s history carries his kit around in the same bag most of our nans take on their weekly food shop.
