Aston Villa’s game with Newcastle United was forced to a halt in the second half on Saturday as disgruntled home fans brought their inflatables to the game and threw them onto the pitch.
Villa are of course already down as they anchor the league table, and Newcastle supporters also fear the drop after falling into the bottom three. A 0-0 draw certainly didn’t help their chances.

But the game was marred by a bizarre protest which saw fans of the Midlands club litter the playing area with their personal inflatables – with one fan giving far too much insight into his personal life.
An inflatable sex doll was chucked down from a topless supporter who had presumably had his fill of fun with her blowup charms. The air-filled beauty even got in the way of the TV cameras…
