Remember the name – Tom Duquesnoy.
The French stand-out has displayed yet again why so many are backing him for greatness in mixed martial arts as he memorably claimed his second BAMMA title.
The BAMMA featherweight champion took his second promotional bout at bantamweight at BAMMA 25 on Saturday night, with the 135 lb title on the line.
But Duquesnoy, whose only career defeat arrived at the hands of top UFC featherweight prospect Makwan Amirkhani, didn’t need long to become a two-weight champion as the 22-year-old dispatched Shay Walsh in just 75 seconds.
After digging in with a left to the body, Duquesnoy clinched with Walsh and torqued a short right elbow into his opponent’s jaw which completely robbed Walsh of his wits.

Referee Marc Goddard was quick of the mark to save Walsh from further damage and there you had it, BAMMA’s first ever two-weight champion.

Did Tom Duquesnoy just win with a left hook body shot-right elbow combo and faceplant Shay Walsh? Fire emojis everywhere for The Fire Kid.

When I say destroyed, I mean I spinning, flying face plant from Walsh after getting hit with that. Duquesnoy's power at BW is terrifying

KO! Huge short elbow to the dome separates Walsh from his equilibrium as he faceplants into the canvas. Amazing KO from Duquesnoy #BAMMA25
