Conor McGregor’s insult to Nate Diaz on Conan is right on the money

Classic McGregor...

The Notorious is out for revenge.

The sky is blue. The grass is green. UFC fighters exchange smacktalk with each other. These are all things which are guaranteed to happen, but despite not being able to attend Conan O’Brien’s show, Conor McGregor had a clear message to Nate Diaz.

‘Mystic Mac’ didn’t predict what was about to happen at UFC 196 but The Notorious has already turned up the heat ahead of their rematch at UFC 202 on August 20.

McGregor reckons that Diaz “won the lottery” when they last faced each other and despite his usual self-assured persona, you have to give it to McGregor for the accuracy of one of the insults he directed at Diaz. Right on the money.

Take a look.

As we’re sure you’re all more than aware, Nate Diaz upset the odds last March when he beat McGregor at UFC 196 in Las Vegas.

As he steps up his preparation for the rematch, McGregor has also been spending time with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently visited him in Vegas.

Ronaldo, having recently won the European Championships with Portugal, is on holiday in the US ahead of his season with Real Madrid, although it’s expected that he’ll be missing for several weeks as he recovers from the knee injury he sustained in the final.
