Cristiano Ronaldo has a certain reputation for selfishness on the pitch.
But the Real Madrid superstar appears to be an absolute class act off it – playing adorable games with his son, meeting orphans and bringing a Syrian refugee child out to the Bernabeu playing surface with him.
While he may, at times, refuse to pass the ball to teammates in better goalscoring positions, Ronaldo seems to be one of football’s good guys at his core and he proved that again at the weekend.
Fresh from scoring the winning penalty in Real Madrid’s shootout victory over arch-rivals Atletico Madrid in the Champions League final, the Portuguese took the time to pose for pictures with disabled fans in the San Siro.
As his teammates made their way out to the pitch for one last celebration, Ronaldo was understandably the most popular man in white and he was more than happy to stop for photographs.
We need more footballers like Ronaldo!
