Hungarian TV reporter deserves a medal for dealing with roguish Irish fans live on air

A great, if disruptive, bunch of lads

Never work with children, animals or Irish fans after a few pints.

That should be the amended first rule of show-business because the well-oiled Republic of Ireland supporters in Paris have developed a tendency of reliably peppering craic throughout the city.

A Hungarian news reporter found that out the hard way as his piece to camera was disrupted by a group of Irishman who just wanted to have a sing-song before their Group E opener against Sweden.

It begins with one curious supporter who wandered into the shot before he is joined by a pack of buddies belting out “Come on you boys in green!”

To be fair to the reporter, he handles it like an absolute champ and smiles all the way through the segment before he is hoisted triumphantly into the air by his new best friends.

Never change, Irish fans. Never change.
