You’ve got Beliebers and Directioners but it appears that Javier Hernandez is more of a JJ-niac.
The Bayer Leverkusen striker is currently on international duty, representing Mexico at the Copa America Centenario, and met one of his sporting heroes in training.
NFL star JJ Watt, who plays as a defensive end for the Houston Texans, popped in to say hello to the El Tri players over the weekend. And to say Chicharito was in awe would be a massive understatement.
Hey, @miseleccionmx, let us introduce you to @JJWatt.
We think you'll like him. #SomosTexans

Hernandez was literally left open-mouthed at the sight of Watt who gave the former Manchester United forward a jersey as a souvenir of their meeting.
It’s honestly like Chicharito is a five-year-old seeing a superhero, and it certainly brings a smile to one’s face that a professional footballer on huge money can still be left starstruck.
We’d imagine there are plenty of young football fans who would have the same reaction upon meeting Hernandez, so it’s sweet to see.
We don’t get to use the word ‘adorable’ much when writing about sports stars but how else are you going to describe this level of fandom?
