Conor McGregor isn’t the only Irish fighter with precognitive abilities.
Back in June, Joseph Duffy weighed in his opinion about how he thought Conor McGregor v Jose Aldo would go down, and the Donegal native was very accurate with his prediction.
At that stage, the fight was still booked as the main event of UFC 189, but remarkably, the rising Irish lightweight’s assessment of how the fight would play out rang true for the rescheduled bout at UFC 194.
Although he didn’t call the fight only lasting 13-seconds, Duffy got pretty much everything right.
“I see Conor knocking him out.”
“I think his distance control is better. He’s a lot more loose and relaxed. I’ve said it from day one, I thought he’d take him out inside three. I just think Aldo rushes his attacks a little bit and he’ll run into one of Conor’s shots.”
