Welcome back, Jon Jones.
The best light heavweight in the UFC made his highly anticipated return to the Octagon at UFC 197. Although it wasn’t exactly a vintage Jones performance, Bones did enough to score a dominant decision win over Ovince Saint Preux and claim the interim strap.
Jones’ arch enemy, the current light heavyweight belt-holder Daniel Cormier was in the commentary booth for the main event. To say that the pair do not like each other may be the understatement of the century. They absolutely despise each other’s guts.
Even as Jon Jones was leaving the Octagon after beating OSP, he couldn’t help himself from trying to wind up DC. As he made the walk backstage, Jones stopped dead in his tracks, locked eyes with Cormier and then proceeded to give him the middle finger before going on his merry way.
No love lost between @DC_MMA and @JonnyBones.
