Liverpool hosted Borussia Dortmund for their Europa League quarter final second leg clash on Thursday evening and the love-in between the two sets of fans was palpable before kick-off.
Both clubs share the ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ anthem and unsurprisingly, the Anfield crowd’s pre-match rendition of the song was spine-tinglingly powerful.
You might even go as far to say it was enough to bring a tear to a stone… especially if that stone was wearing a half-and-half Liverpool/Borussia Dortmund scarf.
