Fair play to the reporter that asked the question we all want the answer to.
Joachim Löw is unsettled.
His team has started Euro 2016 well but ‘Jogi’ is ill at ease. Not only is he perspiring at a rapid rate, he also appears to have issues with his trousers, underwear, or both.
The German coach has been thrice caught on camera reaching down past his waistband to make some adjustments and sniff what’s going on.

The reason why has perplexed most of us, with many unsure if they actually want to know the answer.
This morning, in France, a German reporter asked forward Lukas Podolski just what his coach was up to. The former Arsenal man brought down the house with his response:
“80 per cent of you guys, me included, fondle their balls too.”
He might be aiming low there but how many have paid so much attention to their digits immediately after, and with such tender, loving care? Actually, probably best not to answer that.
Many of us had wondered why Podolski was included in the German squad ahead of a number of higher-profile attacking players. Perhaps Löw brought him along specifically for moments like this.
