Whether or not the Diaz brothers were invited guests to Conor McGregor’s post-UFC celebration is irrelevant – they got in!
One wouldn’t have thought that McGregor and the Stockton siblings were exactly on the best of terms considering the fact that he’s in the midst of an inevitable trilogy with the younger brother, Nate.
But both Diaz bros were front and centre while ‘The Notorious’ put on an indulgent party in New York’s Marquee nightclub after UFC 205 on Saturday night.
McGregor was in typically brash form on the microphone, as he toasted his own historic achievement just hours after becoming the first fighter in UFC history to hold a belt in two weight divisions simultaneously.

That prompted the older Diaz, Nick, to whip out his phone and start snapchatting.
Prior to his trademark middle finger and “Fuck you!”, Diaz said “I was already the two-weight world champion, bitch!”
What’s interesting to point out is that Nick Diaz was never a simultaneous two-weight world champion, in any organisation, but the Diaz brothers tend to live in their own world where professional records and judges’ decisions are a non-issue.
Perhaps Nick felt that he beat Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva… and believed that the Silva fight was for the middleweight title.
Perhaps he felt that the Takanori Gomi fight in Pride was for the lightweight title and added that imaginary belt with the very real WEC welterweight strap.
Perhaps he felt that he came out on top against KJ Noons when they fought for the EliteXC lightweight title and combined that with the WEC welterweight championship.
Who knows what the hell goes on inside the mind of a Diaz brother?
