Van der Wiel fronted straight up to the youngster and faked a punch which forced the trash-talker to flinch and back up, to the raucous laughter of those filming.
The Dutch right-back may come in for some punishment for acting in such an aggressive manner to a minor but one thing’s for sure, he’s sent a message to teenagers up and down France that he will tolerate precisely zero sh*t.
