Something tells us that Carlos Carvalhal has had better weekends…
The Sheffield Wednesday boss was powerless to prevent his side losing the Steel City Derby at Hillsborough on Sunday afternoon – United winning 4-2.
A couple of days on, and it appears the Portuguese manager hasn’t taken the loss too well. As highlighted by Chris Holt of the Sheffield Star, Carvalhal appeared ‘animated’ during his press conference on Tuesday morning – taking out some of his frustration on a poor, hapless £20 note.
Screwing up a £20 note and banging it with his fist to show value stays the same is definitely my favourite Carvalhal presser moment #swfc

In the video below, the Owls’ manager can be seen removing the note from his pocket, asking reporters what it is. Following one of their answers, he sets about screwing the note up, and then punching it a couple of times. Presumably, he’s making the point that the note, much like he and his team, remain the same despite taking a bit of a battering.
