Anyone watching the Super Rugby clash between the Stormers and the Chiefs witnessed a truly magical game.
In the end, the Stormers ran out 34-26 winners, but there was so much more to this story than the scoreline suggests.
The Chiefs may have suffered their first defeat of the season, but they still managed to score one of the tries of the decade. Starting from inside their own goal line, they ran the whole way up the other end of the field with just eight passes to score an absolutely sensational try.
We’re not overhyping it at all, just watch. Remarkably, it could be debated that this wasn’t even the best moment of the match.

That accolade could well belong to Dillyn Leyds, who pulled off one of the greatest off-loads in recent memory.
After chasing down a kick and taking possession of the ball inside the opposition half, he was brought down with a beautifully timed ankle tap. However, he refused to let the action stop there.
With his arse planted on the ground, he spotted fullback SP Marais sprinting up the field. With pressure coming from the opposition, he flung a no-look, behind-the-back off-load that went straight into Marais’ hands. He supplied the requisite finish to cap off a wonderful play.
