Martin Skrtel hasn’t celebrated any of his goals this excitedly.
The Liverpool centre-half was forced to watch from the stands as the Reds secured a nail-biting, if sometimes eyelid-drooping, victory over Stoke in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday night.
Liverpool required sudden death in penalties to secure their path through to the final and, despite nursing an injured hamstring, the Slovakian couldn’t hold in his emotions as Joe Allen won it for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
An eagle-eyed fan sat in front of Skrtel captured the defender losing his mind when qualification was guaranteed.
