Despite taking an early lead at the Nou Camp on Saturday evening Atletico Madrid eventually surrendered to a 2-1 defeat against Barcelona, finishing the match with just nine players.
Following Koke’s opener in the 10th minute, Barcelona fought back to gain an advantage through goals from Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, before a red card for Filipe Luis ended Atletico’s hopes of a positive result just before half time.
