Call me. We’ll talk.

Conor McGregor the fighter just became the first two-weight UFC champion.

Conor McGregor the business man wants him some equity.

In the coming days, McGregor will sit down with the UFC brass to talk money; to talk about is future.

The McGregor-driven UFC 205 has smashed every single record in the game and made a few new ones while it was at it. Now the star of the show wants a proper slice of the pie.

Right after he knocked Eddie Alvarez flying to win the UFC lightweight belt, McGregor looked like a man who expected nothing else. Already he had moved on. He had a new mission in mind – getting what he feels he is owed.

There can be no mistaking what McGregor’s phone-call mime was all about.

McGregor mime

The Notorious is looking to sit down with Ari Emanuel, the UFC’s new owner, and his team to discuss where he goes from here.

At the post-fight press conference, McGregor spoke about his desire to reap his rewards. He said:

“They’ve got to come talk to me now.

“No-one has come to talk to me since the sale has happened, as a businessman. I’ve been approached like ‘Hello’ and that sort of stuff but I’ve earned something.

“Who owns the company now? People have shares in the company… celebrities. Conan O’Brien owns shares of the UFC nowadays. Where’s my share? Where’s my equity?

“I want what I deserve, what I’ve earned. They’ve got to come talk to me now. I’ve got both belts, a chunk of money and a little family on the way. You want me to stick around and keep doing what I’m doing, let’s talk, but I want ownership now. I want equal share, I want what I deserve – what I’ve earned.”

McGregor will be taking a step back from fighting

“I’m not in a hurry no more,” he said.

He’s not in a hurry but he knows exactly what he wants.

“I’m running it for real now so they’ve got to come talk to me.”

Pick up that phone, gents. It’s time to talk.
