What do Leicester City have in common with Barcelona, PSG and Borussia Dortmund?

This is something we never though we'd say....

Ben Kenyon

In case you haven’t noticed, Leicester City really are flying high this season.

It has been refreshing to see Claudio Ranieri’s men run riot in the Premier League and storm their way to the summit of the table.

They’re sitting pretty in second place on goal difference and have been putting teams to the sword left, right and centre.

Their direct and attacking football has won them all kinds of plaudits as frontmen Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez bang in 21 goals between them.

It has been former Fleetwood Town man Vardy that has been hitting the headlines of late with his phenomenal Premier League goal-scoring run which now stands at a record 11 games straight.

But Leicester’s goalscoring exploits have also put them in a pretty select group of top European clubs so far this season – and they’re the only Premier League side to do so.

They join PSG, Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and free-scoring Fiorentina as the only teams from the continent’s top five leagues to have netted in every single game of the season.

Take a bow, gents. It’s been great to watch. Let’s hope they can keep it up.
