Who would top the Premier League if it were a game of one half?

Manchester City have set the early pace in the race to be crowned Premier League champions. Over 90 minutes they top the table as things stand.

But what if the game ended at half-time? Who would be sitting pretty at the pinnacle of the table? Surprisingly, Manchester’s blue half are no where to be seen.

Arsenal remain a constant in second place, but the surprising leaders (in imaginary 50% world) are Watford, who would be unbeaten on 19 points.

In reality, the Hornets top the bottom half of the table in 11th position. Perhaps that says a lot about their lack of staying power, whilst City are clearly strong finishers…
