Los Angeles Football Club is set to officially enter Major League Soccer in 2018 and the latest franchise is definitely starting to take shape.
Thursday brought a number of exciting new announcements for LAFC, including the unveiling of its crest and official colours.
But perhaps the most exciting news of all came with the fact that comedy actor Will Ferrell had joined the already star-studded list of owners which includes ‘Magic’ Johnson, Tony Robbins and Cardiff City owner Vincent Tan.

There are 24 owners of LAFC and we’re confident in saying that Will Ferrell is definitely the funniest among them.
How hands-on a role he will have with the franchise is, as yet, unknown but he’s not exactly a complete beginner when it comes to football as he has famously been a fan of Chelsea for years.
That being said, he did predict an 11-0 victory for the Blues over Inter Milan in 2009 so we think he may need to tone down his expectations a tad.
