What a night for Becky Lynch…
Becky Lynch made history in the WWE in the early hours of Monday morning, not only did the Limerick native headline the main event at Wrestlemania, the first time for a woman, but she also took home the title.
In doing so, she won the WWE Raw Women’s Championship and the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship in a unification bout.

Lynch headlined the main event alongside former UFC star Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair, daughter of wrestling legend Rick Flair.
Fans have been gripped with the huge rivalry between the three wrestlers over the past year and it all came to a head in the main event.

Lynch pinned Rousey to take the titles, although reports emerged the finish did not go down the way it was planned; although Lynch was still supposed to win, the manner of the victory was reportedly supposed to be different.
More from @colohue:
Match ended too abruptly, Becky was still meant to win.
"Accident's happen. The ref's continued a count after a kick out. He hasn't delayed between the 2 and 3 like they're supposed to and Becky hasn't let go in time for Ronda to kick out."#WrestleMania
