Zlatan Ibrahimovic can be pretty intimidating at the best of times.
We’ve heard how he likes to use his black belt Taekwondo skills on teammates in training, you know – for a laugh.
And the way he dealt with this pitch invader at Old Trafford was pretty ruthless. In short – you wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of him.
But the 6ft 5in striker was at his intimidating best during Manchester United’s narrow EFL Cup win over rivals Manchester City in the midweek.
He appeared to provocatively grab his genitals at City defender Nicolas Otamendi during the game which United won 1-0. Terrifying.

But Le Parisien columnist Julien Laurens now claims the league’s disciplinary committee will look into the incident from the derby clash and he reckons the former PSG star could be suspended over it.
“The league disciplinary committee will look more closely at this incident, the first of Ibra’s in his new adopted country, and he could be suspended,” Laurens writers in his column.
“After enjoying his good side, the English have now discovered his dark and provocative side.”
It’s unclear whether the FA will look to reprimand the United forward over the incident and as yet no official investigation has been announced.
It’s not been the greatest few weeks for the Sweden international. After a blistering start to life at Old Trafford with six goals to his name, Ibrahimovic hasn’t scored since September 10 – ironically in United’s 2-1 defeat against City.
But his profligacy in front of goal reached fever pitch against Burnley on Saturday in a game which saw United fail to score with 37 shots on goal, and Twitter was typically sympathetic.
6 – Zlatan Ibrahimovic has gone six league games without scoring for the first time since December 2007 with Inter Milan. Deflated.
