Work is well under way for David Beckham’s Miami-based Major League Soccer team and one of his former teammates has now expressed his interest in being one of its first players.
Beckham played out the final games of his illustrious career alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain, and, according to a report in French publication, L’Equipe, it now seems that the Swede fancies the idea of joining Beckham’s team when his contract in France expires.
It was rumoured in the summer that Zlatan may be on the brink of leaving the French capital with moves to the Premier League and a return to former club AC Milan all speculated.
He stayed, and has recently become the club’s all time leading goalscorer after a brace against rivals Marseille.
But with his contract set to expire at the end of this season, could we see Zlatan corss the Atlantic for a new chapter in MLS?
