Don’t say we didn’t tell you…
If you haven’t watched the latest House of the Dragon episode yet and were considering sitting down and watching it with your parents, it might be an idea to rethink those plans.
This is as various fans of the Game of Thrones prequel have taken to Twitter to warn people of some shocking sex scenes in its fourth episode.
Titled ‘King of the Narrow Sea’, it sees Daemon Targaryen (Matt Smith) return from war as a hero following his surprising victory in the previous episode.
Upon arrival, he once again bends to the knee of his brother King Viserys (Paddy Considine) and then brings his niece Princess Rhaenyra (Milly Alcock) to explore King’s Landing.
We see them first drinking and attending a bawdy play together, before proceedings take a dark turn.
This is as Daemon takes Rhaenyra to a pleasure house, shows her the pansexual orgy within, before almost having sex with her.
Instead, he stops at the last minute and runs off. However, word of their interaction gets back to the King, who banishes his brother forever.
The episode received great reviews from critics but given the orgy and incest plotline, viewers were quick to warn others that watching it with your parents might make for uncomfortable viewing.
One Twitter user wrote: “DO NOT recommend watching House of the Dragon Episode 4 with your parents, partner, and teenage brother. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES.”
