We’re all for celebrating a big victory, but Stoke have taken this way too far.
The Potters face Liverpool on Sunday in a repeat of the final game of last season when they dealt out a 6-1 thrashing to Brendan Rodgers’ side.
Naturally, Stoke are eager to remind their rivals, with one supporter selling ‘Mighty Stoke’ scarves saluting the famous victory.
“We prepared, attacked, destroyed,” read the scarves.
Good god, it was a nothing game at the end of the season…
