Liam Gallagher hits back at Twitter user’s attempt to mock George Michael

The former Oasis frontman was far from impressed

Liam Gallagher has hit out at a Twitter user who attempted to make a joke at the expense of the late George Michael.

The former Oasis frontman had tweeted his disbelief at the news of Michael’s death on Christmas Day.

‘It better not be true about George Michael’, his tweet said – minutes after the news had been announced by the singer’s publicist.

Replying to Gallagher’s tweet, a user by the name of @Migualez made reference to Michael’s 1998 arrest in a Beverley Hills public toilet in a since-deleted tweet.

Clearly unimpressed by the distasteful reply, Gallagher fired back a strongly-worded response: ‘Your [sic] a massive c**t good job your [sic] a nobody as if be coming down your chimney and volleying you in the face.’

The exchange can be seen in the picture that accompanies the tweet below.

Elsewhere, it’s emerged that streams of George Michael’s music have increased by a staggering 3,158% overnight between December 25 and 26. Spotify confirmed the news to TMZ.
