Nicely done.
Stoke City’s official Twitter account has put a social media user who mocked Glenn Whelan firmly in his place.
The Twitter user was critical of Whelan in the wake of Stoke’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
“Whelan is amongst the least mobile central midfielders in the league, thus he needs special support,” he tweeted.
He also tagged the official accounts of United and Stoke, but he probably regrets that now.
Stoke’s account replied:
“That’s strange, he’s still fishing £89m out of his back pocket.”

Stoke’s account was referring to, of course, Paul Pogba, the world’s most expensive player who cost United £89m from Juventus last summer.
The Republic of Ireland midfielder performed admirably against Pogba in the game.
If it wasn’t for Wayne Rooney’s stunning free-kick in stoppage-time, which rescued a point for United, Whelan would have been on the winning side.
The 33-year-old has played over 300 times for Stoke, and he’s never let the team down.
It’s good to see the club pick-up for Whelan.
