Oh shiiiiiiit!

Oh dear. This doesn’t look good.

Whether he claimed that someone else had his phone, that he was sitting on it, or that it was an idle slip of the finger, this won’t go down well at the Emirates.

No club knows the power of the internet, and social media in particular, like Arsenal FC. Their fans dominate every poll in existence, and their players are the selfie kings.

But Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain caused something of a controversy on Saturday when he ‘liked’ a post on Twitter asking for Arsene Wenger to be sacked as the club’s manager.

The Arsenal Fan TV tweet was unambiguous in its message: ‘WENGER NEEDS TO GO!!!’

It came after the Gunners lost 3-1 to Chelsea, hot on the heels of losing to Watford in midweek. The tweet was very quickly ‘unliked’ as fans noticed and news spread.

Something tells us the Ox has a lot of explaining to do…
