There’s life in the old dog yet…
As Samuel Eto’o plays out the twilight years of his career, he’s become somewhat of a globetrotter. Following his glory days with the likes of Barcelona and Inter, we’ve seen him on these shores with Chelsea and Everton, in Russia with Anzhi Makhachkala and even a brief return to Italy for a spell at Sampdoria.
His latest venture sees him turning out for Turkish side Antalyaspor… and he’s made an impressive start.
Playing against Basaksehir on his Turkish Super Lig debut, Eto’o rolled back the years to notch up his first goals for his new club. Although the defending left plenty to be desired, his first goal saw him apply a tidy finish to an impressive solo run.  For his second, a well timed volley nearly ripped the netting from the goal frame.
Now 34 years, Eto’o was clearly pretty chuffed with himself – sharing the footage of his goals with all of his Twitter followers.
Extremely Happy to have started this way. Here is the video of the 366th and 367th Goals of my career. Thank you All! http://t.co/47rxKpowMI
