It is a month to the day since Zlatan Ibrahimovic suffered a shocking knee injury against Anderlecht in the Europa League and since then, the Swede’s future has been subject of rumour and gossip.
After being ruled out for the rest of the season, various outlets have reported that the striker turned down the offer of a contract extension at Old Trafford.
While his future isn’t 100% certain, Ibrahimovic has provided a fitness update after posting this video to his Instagram account.
Although the former PSG player teases that he will be ready for United’s Europa League Final against Ajax, it is incredibly unlikely.
This being said, we won’t rule out Zlatan making some sort of memorable appearance in his native Stockholm as United go in search of a trophy that has eluded them and that much coveted Champions League spot.
