Katie Hopkins and LBC have “agreed” that the divisive broadcaster and commentator will leave the radio station “effective immediately”.
The move comes after a tweet in which Hopkins called for a ‘final solution’ in relation to the Manchester Arena attack drew heated criticism and put pressure on her employer LBC, where she hosted a Sunday morning talk show.
After facing widespread condemnation, Hopkins deleted the tweet, claiming that she meant to call for a “true” solution. Her original tweet had been reported to the police.
